Your rent will be subsidised by Housing Benefit at the LHA rate administered by your local council's Housing Benefit department. Your local council will also have its own Council Tax Reduction Scheme. So you would be advised to contact them about help with your rent and Council Tax.
There is an exception which would be if you had a partner who was under State Pension age.
