Future PIP Review was created by azerlovi
l was awarded PIP, higher weekly rate in daily living and mobility in April 2017 for 10 years so it will be 10 years in April 2027. Several questions as when will they review it and will it be a PIP light review and what does that exactly entail. Or will it be a full review given the governments crusade against sick and disabled claimants.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi azerlovi
You can read about which form you should receive on page 131 of the Guide to PIP claims and reviews. I don't know whether you will receive an AR1 (Review form) or an AR2 {Light Touch Review form). It will depend on what was written in your decision letter.

When you've looked at the wording on your decision letter and the first four paragraphs in the guide on page 131, it should be clear which one you will receive - but if it isn't, come back and ask and we will try and help.

Thank you kindly for your quick reply as l have looked at the wording on my decision letter and it says that l was awarded both at a higher rate for a ongoing period.

I've just completed the assessment for my son's 10 year light touch review. Please don't just tick the boxes when it comes and make sure you add text and examples to hopefully enable a paper based review. My son was awarded in 2014 and got the paper work last Summer.

Morning. Just to let you know, that they can 'review' for up to a year beforehand. If I were you, I'd start putting my evidence together in April. Then you can just add to it as you go forward.
My review is due in May 2027. I wasn't given a 10 year award, but my awards of Enhanced Both will total 10+ years by the time they next contact me.
I am sincerely hoping that this will help us.... but it's the DWP, so who knows...
