Hi karen robson68

Lots of claimants have annual rent increases. I assure you that it does not trigger a review. There will be some people whose reviews are due at the same time as a rent increase - but that is just a coincidence.

There is a note on the UC system saying you cannot report a change, with regard to the April rent increases, until it actually happens.

I ignored this, and put in a journal entry stating the change of rent, the amounts, and the dates.
*I did this to make sure there is written evidence on their systems in case of any issues*
I also did this with regard to my pension which also goes up in April.

To access the journal I ticked the 'appointment' box.
It wouldn't let me do it otherwise.
They will no doubt request full info in April, but I wanted to cover my bases.
