I completed the AR2 on behalf of my adult son.
I decided to add 2 additional sheets and not just tick no change. I am so glad I did. Within just a few weeks…almost by return…baring in mind it was over the Easter period….my son received a reply. He was awarded the same on daily living and mobility. Next review not until 2036!
I am so relieved. His disability is life long and I emphasised that on the additional sheets and explained why.
Thank you for the help via Pips Guide and forum. It was super helpful.

Many congratulations on a successful review for your son. I'm so glad that you didn't just tick no change and added additional sheets. As you say, it was well worth it. And now you have ten years of peace!

Hi Polly can I ask did your son’s previous award have an end date on it. Our son has an ongoing award that says we will contact you after May 2027. Not sure if his will be an AR2 or AR1 form when they do review him. So glad for your son’s award.
