Good morning all,
Hope you are enjoying the sunny weather!
My PIP is due for review - the award runs out in December. I got a text on Monday morning to say my review had begun and I shuold call them if I have not received the form in 2 weeks. It also says the date I need to get the form back will be on the front page.
I just got my mail for the day and there is still no sign of the form so I have two questions please.
1) How long will I have to send this back (I am going to send it registered post but I am getting a bit nervous about missing the date)
2) Will it definitely be an AR1 form - I would like to start prepping in advance if I can.

1. They normally give people four weeks to send it back. However, because the post is so slow, you will probably only have two weeks to send it back. The moment you receive the form, ring the DWP and ask for an extension. This will automatically be granted, and they will give you an additional two weeks. You don't need to give any reason for the extension request other than that the post was delayed. They are quite accustomed to this, which is why you will automatically be given the extension if you ask.
2. Most people are sent AR1 forms. You would probably know if you were expecting an AR2 form. You can read the difference in the Guide to PIP claims and reviews if you are unsure.

Hello again - just as some info for people I received the form on Saturday (25th April).
The date they need the form back is 18th May.
No real point just info for people!
