Extention letters

Hi all,

I just curious to see if anyone has received any letters regarding extensions in northern ireland?

I know benefits are devolved to the depth of communities, upon a quick Google search it says the DOC already had powers to extend dates up to a year at a time but going by the new legislation DWP are using for the new extensions theres a clause Inc northern ireland- quite possibly i read this completely wrong.....

Anyway have anyone who lives in northern ireland been notified of an extension?

Hi Annie. I’m in N.I but sorry I don’t have the answer. However I noticed the pinned comment about going onto Gov one login by another member who was able to see extension to Pip. I’ve tried this ( already have govt gateway) but although I could create an account I could not see information about my PIP nor possible extension.
Sorry this creates more questions than answers 🧐

I did look online but I only have a government gateway account, when I went to the check benefit entitlement page as suggested I was unable to log in with the gateway login, instead it wanted me to register for a gov.uk account. I personally am against this as its basically a digital id by another name and I already had to part with alot of my personal information to get my gateway account in the first place. Lol AlthoughI do suspect its probably not available online as the DWP and DoC are completely separate and the DoC definitely has less online services.
