How Long Between DWP Text and Actual Decision Letter Arrival?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me understand what's normal here. I received a text from the DWP on 24th August saying I would receive my PIP decision letter within two weeks.

It's now been two and a half weeks and the letter still hasn't arrived.

I'm wondering: How long has it actually taken for others between receiving that initial text notification and the decision letter physically arriving?

I know delays happen, but I'm anxious and my chronic pain is extremely high.

I would want an idea of what to expect and what I can do or shouldn't do.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay? What was your timeline?

Any advice appreciated.
