I had my ESA Appeal Tribunal two weeks ago and last week received notice that the appeal had been allowed. Thank you for guidance provided on this site!
I have a couple of questions:
1. Is there any risk in requesting a "statement of reasons" for the decision just to give further insight into the decision-making even though I have no intention to appeal the decision?
2. My partner attended the tribunal hearing with me as my representative but is not listed on the decision notice as an attendee. Is that usual? Would there be reason to ask for this to be corrected just as an accurate record?
I could easily take the result happily and move on from the above issues but just wanted to check.
No I cannot think of a risk involved in requesting a statement of reasons. It is your name that should be on the Tribunal Decision Notice. So if you are happy with the result as you say I would not try and change the notification.
