Incapacity benefit

Just a quickie, I have seen a letter from a friend from jobcentre plus and it states "if you are sick claim I.B. ?
This is dated 26 June 2010 and as we know I.B no longer exists its ESA. It shows what a shambles the system is.

My daughter is on IB for mental health problems and was recently re-assessed, she was expecting to go onto ESA, they have put her back on IB and she will have another assessment in 12 months time.One of her friends who has similar problems was moved onto ESA.

Confusing isn't it.

Especially as all new claims are now for ESA.
I cant understand why this letter is still refering to claim I.B. now.
I understand that if you are on I.B at the moment you will be reassessed under I.B.
