DLA/ESA Top up Priemums

Hi All,

I am in the WRAG group ESA, I have also been given LRM and Higher rate Care DLA.

I have been told by the DWP that because I am on contributory ESA I do not get any disability premiums, is this right?

The fact that you're getting Contributory Based ESA does mean you're not entitled to any premiums, these are given to those who are on Income Based ESA or those getting a mixture of the two.

As you're getting High Rate Care DLA Carers Allowance is payable to someone who looks after you for 35 hours or more a week.
