Pathways to work interview was created by mamawange
Hello
Would anyone be able to tell me please, I had a pathways to work interview letter sent today to attend on 4th October. I haven't yet recieved my results from the medical assessment but may well do before the 4th oct. If I fail the medical and appeal, do I still have to attend the pathways to work interview? If I pass then I guess yes I do but not sure about if I fail. Also I fi haven't recieved my medical result do I still have to attend the pathways interview?
Many thanks in advance for any replies.

Hi,

Unless prior to the Pathways interview you are either placed into the ESA Support Group or you close your claim, you will have to attend the interview or risk losing benefit.

I would go to the Pathways to work interview. I went last month having been told I was going into the work focused group went to the pathways meeting and the staff there were great. They explained that they were independant of the DWP and when they looked at my situation they decided there was no way I was suitable for work and have sent a report back to DWP and I'm still waiting for a reply but upshot is pathways unless told otherwise do not require any further attendance for a minimum of 6 months
