This is going to be back paid from March, the touble is i haven't heard anything since my appeal and i was just wondering if this is normal or should i ring up and query where is is/what's happening.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Firstly keep an eye on your bank balance as arrears are often paid before the letter advising you of the payment arrives in the post.

It can take sometimes 4 to 6 weeks before the payments do go in though, but you can always ring and ask for the state of play.

Pete

Hello Queenbabe.
I had an appeal beginning of June and had not heard after a few weeks so rang the DWP and they said they had not heard from the tribunal service although surprise surprise the tribunal clerk said they had sent out their copy with mine. Every time I checked with the DWP they still had not heard so in the end I said I was visiting my MP at the end of the week and I would bring it to his attention. That seemed to do the trick and they said they would get a certain department to chase it up. I received the money the next week (9 weeks after the tribunal) so I would check with the DWP if I was you.
Well done on your sucess at the tribunal
Sue

Well done for getting your mobility... I have the same condition, have applied twice for mobility component and failed both times.

I am currently appealing ESA and can only handle one fight at time but shall be retaking this one up after my ESA!! ;)

Well done :woohoo:
