Appeal and Work Focused Interview was created by Pusscat
Hello
As you may be aware I recently appealed the decision of putting me in the WRAG. Today I've received a letter saying I have to go to a WFI. Is this correct, and if not do I need to call them to say I'm appealing the decision?
Looks like another cock-up to me.....
Thanks
Pusscat

Hi Pusscat
Unfortunately they can call you in for a WFI while appealing. However if you would find this difficult to cope with, you could give them a ring and ask for the interviews to be deferred until after the appeal.
Good luck
Derek

I'd recommend putting this in writing to them and keep a certificate of posting
You can also fax via a broadband connection 2 faxes per day are free, get the number of the JCplus fax
www.myfax.com/free/
You also get a delivery successful confirmnation with this service
I would not run the risk of someone agreeing on the phone that you dont have to go, and either that isnt logged and you have no evidence they agreed, then later end up in problems.

Hello
Okay, that's ridiculous, can they also ask for you to go in for the WRAG meetings too?
There is an email address on the letter from the person who sent it, would it be worth sending a letter to that instead, then it's been done in writing?
Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi
No it's just that I'm appealing, mind you nothing surprise me with the benefits system it seems to be a law unto itself.
Anyone got a view on whether I should send a letter to the email address. Any views appreciated?
Thanks
