Having studied the DLA claim pack and quite a lot of your info,comments on the following are appreciated.
1, Why aren`t sitting problems mentioned on the forms and could this be included?.The situation arises due to disc etc. degeneration.
2.My husband also has bilateral Bronchiectasis with colonised Pseudamonas and Asthma. He does postural drainage 1-2 times daily.Obviously it would be more beneficial with help but I have R A and O A. Could this treatment be a factor as part of a claim and how significant could it be.

The issue for DLA is help you reasonably require. Generally there's not a lot of help people can have with sitting. But they may reasonably require help with getting sat down, changing position whilst sitting or rising from sitting and you can include details of these on the Any other information page if needed.

The issue with postural drainage would, again, be whether it would be reasonable for your husband to have help. So if he can manage fine by himself then it won't be relevant. But if he finds it painful or exhausting or it takes a very long time or it isn't as effective when he does it alone then it may well be reasonable for it to be taken into account as help reasonably required.

Its significance would depend on how long or how often the help is reasonably required.
