Just got a copy of my atos medical for dla

Did you actually receive a DLA award on renewal, and the DLA Unit have now said that you are not entitled to this award?

If this is the case, don't bother asking for an explanation or discussing any aspect of your claim with the DLA Unit, but appeal the adverse decision immediately. You have one month from the date on the letter which informed you that they were to terminate your DLA entitlement and the appeal can be lodged by using Form GL24.

In view of the unusual circumstances pertaining to your case, you may wish to seek advice from a CAB or welfare rights office.

Hi all sorry for the late reply but unfortunatly my mh is bad at the minute.

I will try explain again i'm sorry for not making myself clear i know what i want to say but struggle to put it down into words

In August last year i got sent a letter to say there was doubts over my claim and i had to fill out my form

They said they didn't get enough information from my GP and that i would have to have a medical which i had A couple of weeks later i got a letter sent back saying that they have reviewed all the information and i was intitled

My DLA needed to be renewed in December so i fill out the forms and sent them back and asked them to contact my CPN for more information about MH.

I got a letter back saying that i was no longer intitled to DLA I rang them straight away and they said that it was based on my Medical i ask them why when after i had it done it was decided that i was intitled to it

They said that they would get someone to look at it again and in the mean time send me a copy of the Medical
.
They rang me to tell me that no one would ring me untill i had the copy of the medical so i could see what the doctor had put .
I asked about wever they had look at it again and they said no decision will be made untill after the decision maker had rung me about the 1st decision ,

As i have put there is alot of differences in the report and what was discussed


I have seen my CPN today and took my report with me, She said it was an absoulte disgrace how the report has been written even she couldn't understand most of it

Also she is shocked about what has been written around my medical conditions and how the doctor has come to the conclusions to write what he has in the report

She has taken the medical report from me today and told me than when they ring me to discuss it ask them to contact her as the way i'm struggling to make them realise about my health problems and the impact they have on my life I'm just gald as the added stress ontop of everything else was just making me worse

Now the question comes to mind have i done the right thing will they listen to her more than me and will they talk to her on my behalf ???
I'm just happy she has offerd to help me as it was all getting too much for me
