I should like to know what to expect. I scored 35 points on my ATOS medical IB medical last March. The letter confirming that IB will continue states it is due for review in March 2011 & that after that date I MAY receive another form/be required to attend another medical. Personal access request reveals that in 2006 I was deemed to not need a review until 00/00/00. I realise IB will not continue, but is trnsfer to ESA automatic?
good chance they wont send another form till they get around to moving you to ESA march is a bit early for the move so they might just wait till later in the year then send you an ESA50 form ... after which you might need a medical time will tell

The current intention is for all IB claimants to be Assessed between April 2011 and 2013.
We expect the majority, if not all IB claimants, will need to complete an ESA50 form and to attend a WCA medical, before a decision is made as to whether they qualify for ESA.
Our understanding is that the process will be carried out based on IB renewal dates, although there may be factors, such as age, that will affect this.
Sorry.

Those IB claimants who reach State Pension Age during the reassessment period 2010-2014 will not be reassessed to avoid having to change benefits twice in a short period.
