Exact date of IB migration to ESA? was created by chubbster
Does anyone know when the exact of the IB migration to ESA occurs, I am only interested as this is when the new and much harsher descriptors kick in.

Out current understanding is that the new ESA50 will be available from mid March, I think you have six weeks to complete and return it, so that would mean that the new WCA might come into affect from the beginning of May, but that is just a guess.
There will undoubtedly be a short period where both the current and new WCA will be used.

I spoke to someone at the local BDC and they said that it could 3/4 years before the new descriptors come in!! Now have no idea when they are going to be introduced, so I guess it is just a watching and waiting game.

Welllll, the Government could be having a complete change of heart, and be delaying the changes so that the modifications recommended in the Harrington report can be implemented.
The next milestone is 14th March, when the WCA tests are suppposed to be published, I'm not expecting to be surprised
