My son who is age 4 is due to start school in September 11 full time. I applied for DLA because of his communication and toileting problems. He is currently under speech therapy who have said that he either has a sereve phonical awarence defect or dispraxica. He is not toilet trained at all and shows little understanding in this area. Needs extra support with communication via makaton. Under ETN, Community Padeactrian Specialist, Incontenant Service. But DLA has said that he doesn't require any care over and beyond other children his age! Has anyone been successful if a similar situation? Any help required!!!
