dla

hi all,have just made a claim for dla and received a text saying that it could take up to 38 days for a decision to be made and that they would keep me informed by text.is this the normal thing they do,i found this rather odd,and has any one else had this thanks.

Sorry Mary, didn't mean to worry you at all. I know many people would prefer to receive texts.

For one, they are hopefully going to keep you updated and two, you wont have to talk to them!

So please don't worry, it's just personal choice on my part not to give my mobile number out!
