I was assessed for esa just over 2 weeks ago after being on incapacity benefit for almost 14 years. On the way to the interview I had a call on my mobile to say they were running an hour late and would I like to wait or make another appointment. Well let me tell you I was not going through all that worry again so I said I would arrive in an hours time. When I got to Atos medical centre lo and behold had another hrs wait before being called in to see what i believe was a real doctor. When the interview was over she told me I would hear from them with the result in about 3 weeks but yesterday I had a phone call to say my benefits stay the same and they won't need to see me for 3 years. So i'm a very happy person thanks to this invaluable site.
