I have suspected it was being done by a computer but my records I am told are on a paper file. I just wondered how it is initiated. Do they update records after an appeal has been won ? or do they still go on the basis of the first medical which is what was challenged at the tribunal. I will follow your advice and make the complaint to my mp, in fact I have already done so now as I have his email and know him. Not sure if that is good or bad as he is a Tory MP and I have lost faith in them

And here's me thinking that they were trying to make the benefit system simpler!

I am not worried about what they will find in a medical as someone with a low HDL cholesterol and high Triplicates and high LDL cholesterol I am considered at risk and have been receiving treatment with a specialist for this. Diabetes makes the risk increase 4 fold and both do contribute to severe depression for which I have been on medications as well. I am on middle rate dla care for my conditions but if I could have avoided being hauled about to another medical then obviously I could do without it. I am concerned on how I am going to get there and if it will be a good thing or a bad thing for me to attempt to do. I will ask my doctor to send a letter to them as well. It just seems completely pointless to go about making people more ill in the process but I am beginning to see that the pursuit of profit by ATOS takes precedence over our healths.
