ESA review was created by Melanie Tudor
Hi, does anyone know why my friend has received a letter informing her that her ESA will be stopped if she does not supply documentary evidence that she still needs it, and yet I have not received a letter?
My friend was turned down for her ESA after here medical and had to go to tribunal and won, and started receiving ESA work related group early this year. I on the otherhand was put on the work related ESA straight after my Atos medical last year.
Surely as I have been receiving it longer than she has, I should be the one to get a letter. Her tribunal win was so recent, why would they be so immediate in dragging her through the process so soon and not me?
Is it just a case that I simply have not received my letter yet?

Mel
I think you are making assumptions that this "letter" is standard practice for all claimants, when it is not
Re-assessment decisions are based on the recommendation of the ATOS HCP as to when a claimant might be fit for work, which of course will vary from one individual to another.
Your friend is obviously outstanding to return some piece of paperwork that the DWP require to continue the claim, they need to make sure they do this as soon as possible.

Really grateful to you Gordon. I thought it was a standard letter. Thanks very much.
