I attended my first medical last year and discovered how liberal the assessors can be with their facts so I was obliged to fill out the appeal and that still didn’t convince them I was unwell. Eventually after an admission they succumbed I feel it is because they see my professional title and don’t see the mental illness attached to me I have my support worker going with me and she wanted any advice on what to expect and what she should answer etc so has any one any views Last year physically I was extremely ill and percentage wise I am better than last year but not fit and my mental health is still poor I have been advised to dress down talk down etc anyone have a view
