I refer to the most recent newsletter email and whilst fully accepting that every case must be taken on its merits would like to comment on you opening entry:-
"Completed the claim form online over a few days continually referring to your advice. Form was sent off third week in May . . . This morning I received the familiar looking envelope and tentatively opened it, only to be advised that I have been awarded the higher rate in care AND mobility for the next two years!!!
In my wife's case has had a very similar experience, however we were somewhat surprised to find out, that she has now been summoned to a medical assessment – I was more surprised at this, given that in respect of one question alone, without doubt she would accrue 15 points based on the following:-
Loses control of bowels at least once a week. 15 points.
If it is a fact that there is a “Loss of Control of bowels at least once a week”, is the awarding of 15 points automatic, after all there is no alternative truthful answer.
