still waiting
- bro58
thanks bro and derek... I haven't sent the gl24 back yet... still have a couple of weeks. I thought the ESA65 was the dms sor... sigh... I have been put in WRAG and KNOW I should be in SG. So when I send the GL24... recorded del at least... what do I ask for them to send? Just Decision makers Statement of Reasons ? thanks I have no idea how many points I got or anything other than I've gone into WRAG from IB... no medical.
LT,
Don't delay to long on sending in your GL24.
Your initial submission can be very simple, in that you disagree with the decision to be put in the WRAG, and feel that you should be in support, citing any relevant limitaions, regs, and descriptors that apply to you.
As I've said, you can keep adding to your submission, as and when you gain extra evidence.
The main thing is to get the GL24 in before the month deadline.
cheers

I phoned up this week - was having a braver day. The man I spoke to was nice, but he hadn't heard of one of the things I was asking for. Acknowledgement of receipt of my info request letters was on file apparently, but nothing had been done.
The jobcentre rang the day afterwards - but I don't answer my phone and had mentioned this (so maybe a similar confusion with what I have requested). I'm hoping something will be sent through soon.
I have a complaint letter ready to send to the ICO if I don't hear back soon.
Fingers crossed you hear back soon too.

i asked for a typed copy of my medical report this i did in Jan 2011 after he had been to see me and i `m sorry to tell you i have STILL not got it i ask every 2 weeks by phone and kept being told it was being don't or it was in the post,
well i had mt appeal on 29 July and as of that date i still had not got my copy of my own medical report,
i really hope you get it soon i can only say keep on there case but with that also comes the danger of them marking you up as a pain in the butt, but i think at the end of the day you are only asking for YOUR report surely your allowed to keep on at them
good luck hope you get it really soon

Just to update, I received a phonecall from a friendly woman today to say that my ESA85a including date of reassessment would be sent out today - she let me know that the latter would be 2 years (I am in the support group for mental health reasons after not having to attend an assessment.) She apologised for the delay and said that it's all new to everyone (and that my letter had been passed along the country.)
A great relief to finally get the most important bit of info for me which was the reassessment date - but it's been an anxious wait for this and has involved 2 letters and 2 phonecalls from me and taken 9 weeks.
Wishing everyone a smoother/faster journey in accessing the info they need!

I'm pleased to hear that you will not be troubled for two years, as far as ESA is concerned.
I'm not sure what the lady meant regarding your letter being passed along the country.
Regards
Derek
