further information / sick notes

i received a letter telling me my esa rate was being changed because i had been put into the wrag which was great news but the only information is that this rate will be paid between 17/08/11 and 29/11/11.no other information. my present sick note runs out shortly does this mean i do not have to send in any further sick notes for the time being and i guess i know the next answer as we get near to november will the whole process start again. will that have to be just a review or a fresh claim and will future sick notes be required.the current information received is very poor and i do not wish to ring the dwp as the last time i did i got incorrect information.

Hi Steve,

As you have been put into the WRAG, you have been classed as LCW, "Limited Capability for Work, so you should not have to provide Med Certs.

As for the date at the top of your letter, this has been discussed on the Forum many times.

We have come to the opinion that it holds no significance regarding your prognosis, (expected review date).

To gain info regarding your prognosis, you should make written request for either your ESA85, if you actually had a face to face, or your ESA85a if you were put in to WRAG without having a face to face.

You can obtain either of these from The DM, at the address on the top of the letter you refer to.

You could also request an ESA65, written statment of reasons from the same source.
