I got a letter saying the changes are going to affect me. It states that they have got my phone number and will be contacting me.
It also says if I haven't received a phone call from them within 14 days of the date letter (20th Aug) I will have to contact them.
But I only received it last Thursday 25th, and the two weeks is almost up and I've not had a phone call from them.
Do I contact them before the two weeks is up or after? And If I phone them up too late will it affect my benefits. Its driving me crazy waiting and I'm not sure what to do?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated
Many Thanks
Stu

Hi Stu,
I surmise that the letter you refer to is the IB to ESA migration letter.
The phone call that they refer to is simply a call to reiterate the whole process to you, and then answer any questions that you may have.
They will also tell you that you should be receiving an ESA50 Questionnaire through the post within 14 days, so that is about 4 weeks after your initial letter.
The phone call in its self is not important, however if you do not receive your ESA50 through the post within the next 10 to 14 days, I would contact them.
You can of course contact them now if you wish, the main thing to remember is to make sure that your ESA50 is returned to ATOS by the deadline that they will give you.
Have a look at the being transferred from IB to ESA guide link from the link below. :

Hi Stu,
You may wish to download the PDF version of the ESA50 from the link below. :
www.direct.gov.uk/prod_consum_dg/groups/...lasset/dg_195544.pdf
You could then familiarise your self with it or even start filling it in.
By doing that you can save and go back to it as many times as you wish, then simply print it off and send it when you need to.
You will also have a ready made copy on your PC, or USB stick etc, for future reference.
cheers

Stu, to help you fill in the ESA50, I would strongly suggest that you read all the guides on ESA, including the two guides on filling the ESA50 in, with regard to physical health conditions, and mental health conditions.
You can access all these through the orange "MEMBERS ONLY" box on the left.
If you then have any particular queries, you can come back to us on the forum, and we will try our best to help.
cheers
