DLA totally denied!!

I am my daughters appointee to fill in her dla forms, we have claimed for the first time ever for her as an adult now and she has been refused all benefits. was on high motability and high care.. she is recovering from limb lengthening surgery and her mobility is still severly affected not to mention other daily restrictions from her physical disability and mental health since coping with complications from surgery and constant pain in her side after having appendix removed 2yrs ago, which nobody has any idea about!! any pointers for appeal would be greatly appreciated their reasons given for refusal... i covered them all in detail in claim pack and they also stated she was not in danger in un familiar surroundings and did not need supervision!!

To begin with I would advise you to look at all the DLA guides in the orange MEMBERS ONLY area on the left.

You will also find guides there on appealiing an adverse decision.

I used pointers from site to fill in form in detail but it looks as if they havent read it at all for the reasons stated, i asked them to look at it again over the phone and they said if that failed the tribunal next step. i will look through the other sections you mentioned.
