Wrong documents received

So I recently received copies of evidence I sent to the tribunal service (which they had already sent me) along with someone else's atos reports. (There were two).
The ridiculousness of this whole process is grating to say the least. It also shows how little care is taken over peoples data since name, address, N.I number etc are all listed on the documents not to mention personal details of the assessment.
I already made a complaint to my MP a couple of months back regarding my failed assessment. Apart from informing the tribunal service of their mistake who else would you think it best to inform?? I wasn't sure about informing the lady whose documents I received.
I have to admit I now have about as much faith in the tribunal service as I do in the DWP.
I'm sure I saw a post on this in the past on here but I can't find it. Just interested to get other peoples opinions on this.
Thanks.

I don't think that you are under any obligation to tell the woman whose documents you have received, but I think that it would be a courtesy and it would serve to warn her to check that all her documents have got to where they should have done, i.e. the tribunal.
Edit - what looks like a link isn't working for me so I don't know if it ever will, but so far as I know, that's the website address.

Hi E,
This is a definate breach of the Data Protection Act with regards to the claimants details that have been sent to you.
Have you thought of also informing your M.P. of this.
You could of course post copy of the documents to the person in question, and advise of breach of Data Protection.
You may gain further information with regards to The Information Commissioner, and Data Protection at :
www.ico.gov.uk

Bro58 I will also get in touch with my MP again I think. He may also have some luck in finding out when my tribunal will be!
Lastly I guess if it were my details that had been sent to someone else I would like to know so I will send the documents directly to the intended recipient and let the tribunal service know.

Survivor you're right, it is indeed a very secret website. I'll give it another go later! That's the info I was looking for though so thanks.

Hi E,
I can't get onto the site either, must be very busy
You may want to keep a copy of the documents yourself, as proof that you actually received them.
As proof I would keep a copy of an extract that just contains the other persons name and address national insurance number etc, without containing any actual personal medical facts, etc.
After all you wouldn't want to breach Data Protection.
cheers
