contribution based or not?

oops sorry.

i am on incapacity. have filled out the ESA50 form & have been waiting about 5 weeks with still no reply.

i also get a tiny income support.

i am on DLA high care & low mobility

Hi G,

When you are migrated to ESA, you will be awarded either IR ESA, or Contributory ESA. or even both, automatically by the DWP, which ever one is applicable to you.

So you will know then, as it is not a matter of choice between IR ESA and Cont/ESA.
