DLA Refused After 7 Years High Rate Mob & Care was created by Dambus
After recieving DLA help for 7 years my renewal was refused on its last renewal. I need help for mobility problems following spinal injury and l5/S1 laminaectomy . I also have a pirtuitary disorder causing hormonal problems and suffer severe depression. My spinal pain is so severe i take 600mg m/r morphine per day with oramorph concentrate for breakthrough pain, in adition i have an injection every 3 weeks to help my hormonal disorder along with many other daily meds.
I have social services funded home care (half hour morning and night with 2 hours extra per week shopping/domestic)
I am presently awaiting my second tribunal (first adjourned for evidence and dwp presenter)due 10th oct which I am dreading! I cannot attend as the 60 mile journey causes intolerable pain.
In December it will be 2 years since my initial refusal and i feel hopelees for the future as i cannot survive on incap alone.
I have supporting letters and evidence this time but I'm not holding out much hope.....

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi,
Have you considered requesting a domiciliary hearing - where the panel come to your home or another venue which you are able to attend?
It would mean a much longer wait for relisting, but there's no doubt that being present in person considerably increases your chances of a successful outcome.
