hi all,

just a quicky.

reply to others later.

Just back from CAB intial interview.

1. They pass you on to a specialist department

2. They write short appeal for you and build on this, and request supporting evidence from doctor and health pros, no charges not even psychiatrist report.

3. they carry this forward to tribunal if needed represent you and give and forward new evidence to DWP on an ongoing basis asking you and providing you with duplicate letters evidence etc.

Had to wait from 9.15 am this morning but it gave me confidence on leaving.

DWPA its called.

Should get a letter within 48 hours.

CAB bloke [mod edit]
knew everything about the migration process, very impressed.

Off to GPs nopw for blood tests.

Worth enqurying if you have same system in your town.

regards A.

Biffer, looks pretty impressive. I like your approach re- to wrag related activities and how this may lead to a deterioration in your health. (exceptional circumstances rule ?)

I think that would apply to me as i have a hypertension problem (aswel as depression and clostrophobia) and my blood presure shot up when i got my wrag assesment, and stayed their resulting in me having to see my GP and more blood pressure tablets prescribed. Even had to have emergency blood tests, and monitoring of my blood pressure.

If this happens on just a letter recd at home I shudder to think how I will be when attending a work related interview.

Does anyone think I should point this out to CAB who are now taking charge of my case?.

regards A.

As per my last post does anyone think this would be a good thing to submit to DM as to prove I qualify for exceptional circumstances rule or would I need more evidence etc.

Hi A,

If you feel that you qualify for ESA under Exceptional Circs, it will do no harm to state this, giving reasons.

It is entirely possible that a claimant could qualify fot SG status, under EC and by gaining maximum points in one or more of the the SG qualifying descriptors.

If this is the case, highlight all scenarios of qualifying for SG.

As you are now being advised by CAB, it may be prudent to seek their advice on this, so that there is no conflict of approach.

I believe Steve will be revising the appeal guide at some point in the future.
