I was very distressed on the day of my medical (ESA), as i had missed one appointment before as i was yoo ill tp physically attend, but this time round i was well enough to go. Its best to describe your worst days and how debiliatating you become, as obviously they cant see that i sleep most of teh time when tehy can see me sitting in front of tehm "looking healthy" although u somehow mask the pain with a smile.
I was very worried that i didnt sleep at all teh ngiht before teh medical, whick triggered a sever erelapses-couldnt get out of bed for 8 days! Anywya was so happy tor eceive ESA award today! The female doctor was very compasssionaet and understanding unlike my GP!
So try not to worry too much, describe exactly how u feel on your worse days in aprticuliar and tel them that u do feel alot of pain and discomfot even if u can perfom a certain task.
Thsi website helped me so much and reading encoraging comments in the forum helped me alot- as i was thinking what im i going to do if i dont get no money, i will lose housing ebnefit and become homeless, my kdis will go to social workers but where will i end up, and trust me at these times, u really can do crazy things.

Glad to hear that you didn't have a tough time. I'm also an ME surviver so understand that bit about looking well even though you feel really ill. Good luck hun!
