Not certain how to post this good news on here, but today had the tribunal for my husband for his ESA and he was awarded 19 points after only ten minutes in the tribunal. This website helped me greatly in the advice on how to best support and representig someone, even how to address the judge in the tribunal. So glad I found this site. It was without a very anxious time waiting for this tribunal and so glad it is all over. Sure I will have to go through this again with my son who is disabled with learning difficulties when it comes to the time when they call him in to try to take his DLA from him. I just want to wish anyone waiting for their tribunal good luck and hope you get the decision you are hoping for. Thanks once again for the amount of advice and information this site has offered. A.P.
Hi A67,
Thanks for letting us know about your husband's successful ESA appeal, and thank you very much for your comments regarding B&W.

I wish you luck when your son's DLA comes up for renewal. As I understand it, the onus will be on the DLA to prove that your son's condition has improved if they want to remove or reduce the level of DLA he receives.

I still believe the fundamental flaw in all these proceedings is the fact that the tribunals/medicals etc do not have a stenographer present. With one present at all these meetings etc, the inconcistencies would not occurr and would be a better provided for faility that obviously be cheaper for the tax payer in the end.
