Here is the latest version of : The PIP Assessment Guide which was updated on 31st October 2014.
It is a DWP guidance document for providers carrying out assessments for Personal Independence Payment.
Further comments regarding this can be found : Here, and in our November 5th Newsletter : Here.
These changes to guidance are reflected in our recently updated : PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page)
Please remember, as with The ESA WCA Handbook, this is "Guidance" and not legislation.
However, where at all possible PIP Assessment Providers (ATOS/CAPITA) should adhere to said "Guidance".

All current DLA recipients who were under 65 Years of age on 08/04/13 will be "Invited" to claim PIP sometime over the coming 2-3 year period.
This will be the case even if they currently have an Indefinite or "Life" DLA Award.
