Regular reporting to job centre for ESA ?

Filled in the yearly claim form to continue claiming esa in February.I then expected to get a letter advising me that I would be going for the annual medical in April. I am in the limited capability for work group and I have done this for the last two years.However, I received a letter asking me to attend the local job centre to see a work adviser. I have been doing this once a month, every month since then. Does this mean I will not have a medical this year?? Is this their new way forward to subject us to regular humiliation??? Has anyone else experienced this?? Regards Derek.

The reassessment period varies from person to person - and even from one decision to another for the same person. Nor does everyone always have to attend a 'medical' with an ATOS HCP. It may be that the Decision Maker feels s/he has enough information this time, without subjecting you to the medical.

I don't know anything about the letter asking you to see someone at the JobCentre if this is extra to the interviews you have already been undertaking.
