They can do either, represent you formally, or attend as a close family member.
If they don't have specialist knowledge of Social Security Tribunals, it might be better if they attended as a close family member.

Thank you very much Jim much appreciated ,the family member is an industrial injuries solicitor, but would only be there for support for me as i will be absolutly terrified if and when it reaches that stage
