no reply from ATOS medical ctr or DWP was created by rubydoo
i applied to ATOS to have my WCA recorded, they agreed to this and rescheduled my asessment date. Last week i wrote to both the medical ctr and DWP , to ask for written confirmation that my assessment is to be recorded, none of them have replied even though i sent both letters, recorded delivery. What should i do if i turn up for my WCA, and they say it wont be recorded ?
i did plan to record the assessment covertly anyway.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

As to ATOS, my suspicion is that they are simply not geared up to respond to your letter.
I can't advise what actions you should or should not take if, on the day, you WCA assessment is not recorded, but you should be aware of the following;
- there is no legal precedent that allows a claimant to require the assessment be recorded.
- failing to attend the assessment without Good Cause, can lead to your claim being closed.

The DWP are not directly involved in the WCA assessment process, so I am not surprised that they have not replied.i applied to ATOS to have my WCA recorded, they agreed to this and rescheduled my asessment date.
