esa while appealing -is it means tested? was created by faddywrite
Hi, I have sent off my form as I'm being moved from IB to ESA and I'm expecting a medical. If I am assessed as fit for work I would like to appeal as i have fibromyalgia and muscle fatigue and don't believe I could work. One thing worrying me is whether I would still get ESA at assessment rate while waiting for my appeal, as my husband earns £30,000. If I can, it's going to make it more likely I will appeal, and still manage to stay in our house!!
Thanks, what a great site and forum!

Thank you Gordon, the stress of this process has made me unwell so I'm considering appealing if they say I'm fit for work.
