Support Group without a Medical!

I just wanted to share the good news that I was put in the Support Group last week and would like to say a big thank you all for your excellent guides which undoubtedly helped me as well as the interactive ones on MyLegal and my letter from my GP. I have fibromyalgia and mental health problems. I didn't hold out much hope with the fibro so I am pleasantly surprised and so relieved. It doesn't say for how long but I am too phobic to phone them up!

You could of course write and request written confirmation of the prognosis of your SG award, if you don't want to phone up.

I guess I could write to them. I've heard it could be as little as 6 months though I've heard the average is 12 months.

It could be anything from 3 months to 3 years. One would hope that it would be towards the longer period as you were put into the Support Group.
