Tribunal was created by gary
hi, im due my re-appeal shortly after the first tribunal made a mistake in the statement of reasons.
I was advised to submit another claim when my first was turned down waiting on appeal. And I have the second claim still active.
Can the new tribunal only give an award on the first claim up to the new claim date? if Im making any sense.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Yes, you are making perfect sense! The tribunal decision will run from the date of the first (disputed) decision up until the date of the decision on your new claim.

Hi g,
The Tribunal will relook at the original adverse decision that you appealed.
Any decision made by the Tribunal will only run from the date of the original decision appealed until the date of any decision made as a result of the new claim that you made.
In other words, any decision made as a result of the new claim supercedes any decision made by the Tribunal pertaining to the original adverse decision.,

cheers bro58,
Its seems that the information ive been sent by the DWP may be wrong.
As they are clearly asking the new tribunal only to consider any award to be made up to my new caim date
I should mention this at new appeal just incase.
