I tried to phone but all I am getting is 'call back later"
You cannot be too young to be transferred to ESA

You say you were on IB, if you were not transferred to ESA, why did you apply for it?
Did you close your IB claim and then some time later apply for ESA?
Why was your ESA claim rejected?

Does this sort out what Gordon said or is there an error somewhere?
I had to apply for ESA as I was a couple of months too young as I said for IB transfer.
My ESA application transfer was rejected as they said I was fit for work. I did say to the appeal that if I was fit for work I would be working in the job I trained hard to do and had worked in for thirty years but...................

You may have posted after the forum closed this afternoon.
So to confirm you were transferred from IB to ESA but failed the assessment and were found Fit for Work?
This being the case you would have been eligible for payment of the ESA Assessment rate for the first 365 days after your IB was stopped, and if you are eligible for Income Related ESA, ESA(IR) thereafter.
