I wonder is anyone could advise me about what to do (if anything).
I have received a letter from Jobcentreplus stating I was verbally aggressive & verbally abusive to the ATOS health care practitioner during my medical assessment in early October.
I was nothing of the sort. I didn't even raise my voice, swear or anything.
Is this some sort of trick they are up to to get me off of benefits?, surely they can't be stupid enough to make up rubbish like this, I have a recording of the whole 25 minute "assessment" and it is an official ATOS recording, not my own recording. They handed me a CD at the end of it as I had requested an audio recording in advance.
So I have FULL categoric evidence that I was not abusive or aggressive in any way.
The letter says that they have "marked my record as i am considered a risk to staff under health & safety" etc, but it will NOT affect me financially whatsoever.
What should I do?, I feel like taking this to my MP and to the BBC Panorama team if they are interested in ATOS underhand tricks, lies and deceit.
Any reply greatly appreciated (sorry for length of post but had to explain).

The first thing I would do is to review the recording to make sure that nothing was said that could have been misunderstood by the ATOS assessor, you might want someone to sit in and listen just to give you an independent view, please be aware that this may be in contravention of the agreement you likely signed at the assessment in order to get the CD.
If you are satisfied there is no fault on your part then I would start by challenging the DWP to provide proof of the accusation, they will have a copy of the recording on file and can review what happened.
You can certainly involve your MP

If you wish, I can provide you with an e-mail address of one of the investigative journalists who' has made programmes on ESA & PIP for Channel 4 'Despatches' last year. He is disabled himself, so is aware of these kind of problems and fully trustworthy.
