I also noticed someone else's National Insurance number was scored out on some of the pages and mine scribbled in below.
There is a possibility for you to argue that the medical report does not apply to you and was written in regard for another claimant, but you should be aware that one possible outcome of your doing this is that a new face to face assessment is ordered, so it may be a pyrrhic victory.

I hear what your are saying Gordon. I know I have come out marginally worse off since renewal, going from high Care to mid Care, however,I have kept my high Mobility and both components have been awarded "indefinitely ".Gordon wrote:

As I reside in NI the full Welfare Reform has not taken effect here. So I believe PIP would be introduced in 2016 at the earliest.
I will accept the renewal and just hope that I will not be bothered for a couple of years.
With any luck the powers that be will learn from the rest of UK fiasco, but that's another story.

It's that time again, the dreaded envelope arrived today re my ESA . I was migrated to ESA SG last year and they have started the process again.
I notice I have received form ESA50A, this is a smaller questionnaire of some 12 questions. Is this a new form?
Why have I received this instead of ESA?
I do not trust the DWP and hope I have not got this in error.
Many thanks
P

Hi P,
Yes, the ESA50A is a shorter format form.
It is used when they more or less accept that you have Limited Capability for Work,
(LCW. WRAG status) but need further information to see whether you also have Limited Capability for Work Related Activity. (LCWRA. SG status)

Hi P,
Remember to reiterate that your medical conditions have not improved, nor have you had any procedures or been prescribed any new medication which has improved your medical conditions, and therefore diminished your resulting limitations since your last SG Award.
Nor have you manged to deal with or adapt to said limitations in the period since your last SG Award.
If all of the above is in fact the case, of course.

Don't assume that they will be aware of the limitations that placed you into The SG last time.
