PIP result was created by Bryando
Partner had a result for PIP without a face-face...
Standard Daily nothing for mobility only got 4 points. See potential for appeal but something i better than nothing.. So shall leave it.
Took them long enough....
Again the guides etc on here had a massive part in this result..
Thanks

Had a letter saying we might be able to get a severe disability premium. This would be due to the PIP award and no Carer's Allowance being claimed in tandum.
So just over £1000! Rather hope I have my findings correct!

Hi C123,
Yes, your partner may be entitled to The Severe Disability Premium (SDP) due to the PIP Daily Living Award.
However, it doesn't necessarily follow that they will be paid it.
Have a look at this topic from another member who thought that they would be paid The SDP : www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum?view=top...&limitstart=0#124864
The first hurdle to jump is that your partner must be entitled to payment of Income Related top-ups.
Regarding "Disability Premiums" and IR ESA/Top-ups have a read through this post :

and the other link therein.

The claimant has to be living alone or considered to living alone for them to receive the Severe Disability Premium.
On the assumption that you both live together then you partner will only be considered as living alone if you are currently receiving DLA Care at the Medium or Higher rate. A PIP Daily Living Allowance will also count if you go in that direction.
