I have been awarded PIP from Dla for ten years both components at the enhanced rate.
Naturally I am thrilled as I was on middle rate for care with DLA.
I would like to thank you all for your help and advice/I am certain it helped with pre knowledge what to expect at my medical asessment by ATOS.
However it seems I have missed out on a weeks DLA payment,it was due on 30th March and has gone into my bank today ,because of easter I expect.
But I have only been paid three weeks DLA and am wondering if anyone else has had this problem?
I did also wonder if my DLA is paid one week in advance and three weeks in arrears which would explain only reciving three weeks payment. But when PIP payments begins on April 26th will I catch up with the missing payment being incorported into my PIP payments?
Thank you in advance for any help and advice you can give.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

We've had several members report a similar problem, my understanding is that DLA is paid 4 weekly in arrears as is PIP, but I have seen it reported that it is paid three weeks in arrears and one week in advance although I have not been able to confirm this. I'm wondering if both are true and at some time in the past there was a change from one to the another for new claimants.
Anyway, the only thing I can suggest is for you to contact the DWP for an explanation of the payments. The PIP payment appears to be correct, so it is just the DLA that you need to speak to them about.

I would leave it another week and then chase the DWP for an update.

Altho I have been on DLA for quite a few years, in excess of 15 years and only recently 'journeyed' from DLA to PIP, my DLA payment will be for 3 weeks and then PIP will take over payment as stated in the letter they sent me, same as yours no doubt.
I believe we shall just have to wait to see what transpires re payments and then see if both yourselves and myself are 'missing' a week.
Thus necessitating more fruitless correspondence with the DWP!!!
