Hello
Thanks again to this great site Ihave been put into the support group without a face-to-face medical although I put my clain in December just got confirmation 2 days ago.
I telephoned DWP today and asked how long the timespan was and was told 18months ( a releif) cos my last one was only 6 months...I then asked for WRITTEN confirmation of the above and the person said they DO reply...are they correct ? do I have a right to write to DWP and ask them to confirm..my worry is in case they pull my file and again send WCA...after 3 or 6 months..please advise..thanks PS I recorded the call...DWP person said my 18 month time span was 100%...is this correct ?

Congratulations on the award, well done.
I'm afraid you won't get a letter about when you will be reassessed, ESA is an indefinite award with scheduled reassessment, as such the Decision does not contain an award length, the legislation allows a reassessment after three months, but it would be very unusual for the DWP not to stick to the 18 months.
