Well I totally understand, they did similar to me in the past and just took away my enhanced award, it felt quite cathartic to appeal. I spent a long time on MR and they just said the same, they do this often so don't be dispirited if they do as Appeals can be quite different!

Thanks, Orangeblossom.

I suppose I need to take one thing at time so will try to find
something new to occupy me once I get this thing posted at the weekend.

The whole process has taken over my life whic can't be good, I know.

hope your MR gets revised for you , dont feel too disheartend if there,s no change as this seems to be the case in many ,, if you appeal get the form sent off to start the ball rolling as it a slow process ,read up on appeals on here it gives you step by step support on what to do ,, gather up as much evidence as you can , ask your surgery for copies of anything you think may be usefull ,(they normaly charge for this ).but more you have the better ,get family members to write letter explaining how a struggle it is for you and how they have to supervise you etc ,, remember the magority.. ,safely ,repeatedly ,in a resonable timescale ,whilst writing your submission emphasise these words in each task descriptor your challenging ,,

Thanks, Alison.

Actually, I sent my MR 'package' at the weekend on Saturday. Sent it first class guaranteed delivery to make sure it gets there. I can honestly say I don't think i could have made it any better.

We must have spent 15 plus hours writing it up, then there was the letter from my doctor which mirrors how I struggle and helps to argue against what the assessor said. Then there was the letter from my carer.

I followed the MR guide on this site.

I know that even with the time spent on the MR, is no sure way of getting them to change the decision, but at least it will be invaluable if it goes to tribunal.

Just to confirm, is it a 6 to 10 week wait for decisions on PIP MR's?

That's what we are seeing at the moment.
