This is not about your conditions old or new, it is about your ability to reliably complete the PIP activities, that's why I say that a new condition is treated in the same way as an old one.

If you report a Change the review will be based on your limitations as they are now, you can use the Tribunal result as supportive evidence but it explains how you were not how you are now.

If you do not think that your current award would change then you need to consider carefully whether you should report a Change or not.

No I dont think my new condition would make a change to my current award.
Can you submit evidence of new conditions at the review stage?
my condition was diagnosed a few months ago in its early stages and is only now affecting me more.

thanks for your replies...
on my original questionnaire, it has primary and secondary disabilities listed. tribunal was awarded on my primary disability. However, it also had another'other condition' listed on it which i was awaiting further tests / surgery at the time but it had no impact on daily activities for pip. On my mandatory and tribunal submission it wasnt mentioned as it didnt affect my ability to carry out my daily activities. I've had further tests and surgery since....should i mention this at my review? or not? because it had no bearing on the tribunal or my ability to carry out activities.
my primary condition has got worse.

any advice appreciated.

We can't say what you should include or not but if the condition is not affecting your ability to complete the PIP activities then you need to consider whether to include it.

Can you categorically state that it is having no impact, most people's limitations are actually the result of a combination of factors, whilst there may be specific problems that they can attach to a specific condition they may have an overall level of disability as well that results from all of their conditions.

Thanks Gordon....
For clarification at the time of assessment I had a sight condition and another condition (gallstones)which required further investigation/surgery - at my assessment I got a point awarded under 'managing therapy/monitoring a conditon' not because of the gallstones but because I was unable to see dosages on medical boxes.

My gall bladder is now removed but I still need assistance when it comes to managing a condition.
The tribunal based its decision on my sight impairment only and ability to carry out pip descriptors, not the gallstones.

At review stage do you have to list all previous and new conditions? & how they impact on you?

Will they look at the tribunal decision which superseded the original assessment/decision?
