I've heard from the DWP. They have not changed my award, just made it ongoing, so I can now make plans and get things done without having to worry too much. Quite a relief to be honest I was not looking forward to having another "assessment" knowing what do.
Thanks

Been looking around out of curiosity. I can't seem to find any info; just wondered what constitutes a 'Light Touch'? I am no doubt be overly worried and am seeing things that are not there, but I do get somewhat worried by euphemisms from those on the right of politics.

Hi bmjohnson
There's no information on what exactly is meant by a light touch review because the DWP have yet to publish what they mean. As soon as they do I'm sure details will appear in the newsletter.

Thinking of it I had a pretty light touch this time. I can't imagine it being any lighter. Only if the form was smaller. The original PIP form was about 40 pages, the review about 20.

Hi bmjohnson
Don't let the new form fool you, treat the review form as if you are applying for the first time.
Boxes are smaller, so use extra paper if needed, don't forget to add your name, NINO and number to each page.
Don't forget to use our guide to help you complete the review form; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/help-for-claimants/pip
